Bar Captain

As a Bar Captain you are responsible for overseeing the operations of a bar, provide professional and customer focused service to our guests, ensuring their stay will become a memorable experience and in line with Kempinski’s DNA values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis
  • Responsible for the daily inventory update.
  • Acquire in depth knowledge of the food & beverage menu of the assigned outlet in order to assist and provide advice to guests
  • Greets guests in a courteous and friendly manner 
  • Mix, garnish and serve drinks according to the guest requests.
  • Ensure the Outlet is set-up for service and supervise for a smooth operation.
  • Direct and supervise the service team to ensure that all duties are performed as per standards

Prepare the mise en place and handle food preparation and assist with food presentation as part of the kitchen brigade. 

Key Responsibilities

Assistant Front Office Manager

A little taste of your day-to-day:    

  • Drive the smooth operation of the Front Office by upholding the highest service standards. Conduct regular operational checks to ensure adherence to brand guidelines and continuous improvement.
  • Inspire and guide our Front Desk team by prioritizing and delegating daily responsibilities. Provide ongoing mentorship and support to foster a motivated and high-performing team.

FOOD SAFETY ASSISTANT – FC04 (ALT1089)

JOB PURPOSE

Maintain high standards of food safety by recording temperatures of raw, cooked and portioned food, inform the senior members of the department of any discrepancy, assist in the preparation of laboratory culture media and record the dishwashing machine temperature and level of disinfection of potable water.

JOB CONTEXT

The job holder is responsible for maintaining high standards of food safety at EKFC by undertaking prescribed tests, scheduled inspections and checks to ensure that the food produced at the facility meets set standards and is safe. Given EKFC*s 24×7 catering operation, the Hygiene function assumes a critical role in ensuring that all locations of the company (including office areas, food premises and equipment) and the supply chain from procuring raw material to food production is food safe, pest free. The standards being adhered to in maintaining food safety are based on EKFC*s pre-established Hygiene & Safety Standards, Local Government Regulations and Airline Customers requirements.
