Getting a Job is still a dream for many people, Many students and college graduates want to get their dream Jobs. Most of the students did not get a chance to get a Job. Many Small Colleges do not offer any placement service.
Even if college students are applying directly to companies or recruiters they do even not get a response due Title Tag of Fresher. In Short, Getting a Job is a huge topic in many countries.
Just because of this emotional Situation, Many Scammers get the opportunity to earn money after doing Scams in the Job Market. As we can see there is a rise in the digital era, many recruiters and companies are hiring using digital Portals or Social Media Networks. This is now very common for companies to hire using the Internet. Just because of this Scammers got the opportunity to play around it. The scammers got so clever at their work, that it becomes very difficult to figure it out whether Job Opportunity is a Scam or a real genuine offer.
The Jobs offered by scammers are very impressive with very attractive salaries, facilities, career growth promises, and other perks, etc. The Scam goes to its peak when the Job Hunting is about to move abroad. The scammers easily convince the candidate or applicant after highlighting huge salaries, luxury accommodation, free flight Tickets by companies, and other healthcare benefits.
Some job scams went another extra mile after promising to get permanent residency in countries like New Zealand, London, Canada, the USA, and other European Countries.
As experience in the recruitment industry, we witnessed many applicants trapped in these kinds of Job Scams or employment frauds. These job scams are growing around the world.
Now Come to the important part how we can identify a Job Scam?
The proposition for employment is excessively appealing:
If an enrollment specialist lets you know that you will get work-from-home work in the US with a green card from the organization in a luxurious region with all voyaging costs, they are close to 100% lying about the proposition for employment. Such positions are almost impossible to get and these are a few warnings that you recognize a fraud for employment.
Unprofessional Emails or Domains
In General, recruiters use professional emails and websites for communication purposes. A recruiter rarely uses personal email to communicate with applicants or job seekers.
So for example, if you are getting emails from an email ID that reads hr@xyzcompany.com then you can trust that this should be a genuine job offer but if you get an email from hrxyzcompany@gmail.com then this is the biggest sign of a job scam. So consistently check whether the proposition for employment is coming from the organization’s approved email address or some email address on Gmail, yippee, Hotmail, etc.
Get a Job after just 1 round online or telephonic
Job is Genuine or Fake, there is another way to identify. The real Jobs require lot of potential and hard work. Companies and recruiters want best employees for their organization. So before taking an employee they test their employees from every aspect. And interviews help them to judge whether the employee is good for hire or not. These interviews include many rounds depending on the job.
Even after clearing all the rounds the genuine company ask your documents for verification purpose. But the Job Scammers took very easy interviews just by a single call or sometimes only chat using social media. They will get you a fake job offer letter. Thus you come to know this job is absolutely fake.
Asking for Details which not required for any Job or Recruiting Purpose
It’s true the recruiters need some of your documents for verification purposes. But you should use your sense that the recruiters are asking right documents. Generally, the organizations and recruiters need your educational certificates and experience letters.
When we talk about bank details for salary purposes they just need your Account number thats it. And they took that also after onboarding in the organization. They will never ask for your credit or debit card details. Or any other sensitive personal information.
Asking for money for Security Purposes or any Other Reason
This is the most important sign if any recruiter asks you to deposit some money in terms of any security or any other charges. You must get this is a complete scam. You must immediately take care of those scammers even if you should report such things using social media.
These are some signs to identify a job Scam.
Again a genuine company never asks a money from applicants.
