CABIN SERVICES ASSISTANT

Job Purpose

To organise, hygienically clean and personalise the A380 Shower Spas with the objective of ensuring each First Class customer who uses this unique onboard feature is delighted by the experience.

The primary area of responsibility is Shower Spa cleanliness and personalisation, however, maintenance of First, Business and Economy Class lavatories, First and Business Class Lounges and general cabin areas is also a responsibility of this role, all to project a positive company image to our customers.

The role is to clean designated aircraft areas and does not overlap with or replace normal Cabin Crew service duties. The CSA will report to the Purser, or the Cabin Supervisor, should the Purser be on crew rest or otherwise unavailable. This role requires travelling.

Job Outline:

Performs inventory control function confirming products are loaded in the correct quantities. This to ensure onboard facilities can be correctly serviced, in-flight replenishments can be made and a wide range of products will be available for customers to select from in using the facilities.

  • To check Shower Spa and lavatory cleanliness prior to passenger boarding placing appropriate amenity items to prepare for passenger use.
  • To “Personalise the Shower Spa” for each customer at the allocated time from the Shower Spa Reservations System, with selected products displayed in the appropriate manner to delight customers who are using the facility.
Qualifications & Experience

Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent. 
  • Experience: – A minimum of 2 years customer service experience with an international hotel chain/airline/world class service provider. 
  • Experience working in Hospitality Industry within housekeeping department would be an advantage. 
  • Knowledge/skills: – Must be fluent in written and spoken English. 
  • Minimum height of 160 cm and Arm reach of at least 210cm (on tip toes).

– You’re at least 160cm tall and can reach 212 cm while standing on tiptoes, to enable you to reach emergency equipment on all aircraft types
– No visible tattoos while you’re in Emirates cabin crew uniform (without covering them with bandages or cosmetics)
– As Emirates cabin crew, you’ll be based in Dubai and will need to meet the UAE’s employment visa requirements

Salary & Benefits

Starting Salary & Flying Pay – Your pay is made up of three components: a fixed basic salary, an hourly pay for operated flights and an overseas meal allowance. Basic salary = AED 4,430 / month, Flying Pay = AED 63.75 / hour based on avg. 80-100 hours / month, Average Total Pay = AED 10,170 / month (~USD 2,770, EUR 2,710 or GBP 2,280). * These are approximate numbers for Grade II (Economy Class). Meal allowances for night stops are credited to the salary in arrears the following month. Hotel accommodation as well as transport to and from the airport is provided by the company.

Cabin Crew Instructor (Freelance)

Synopsis

To train and cultivate cabin crew members, fostering adherence to safety protocols, exceptional customer service delivery, and efficient flight operations.

Accountabilities

  • Fully comply with company health and safety requirements to ensure the well-being of trainees and fellow staff members.
  • Deliver Classroom Training and Practical Training Sessions in accordance with EAT Training Manual and relevant Instructor Guides ensuring best practice and regulatory guidelines are always adhered to.
  • Provide feedback to trainees to ensure successful completion of assigned training sessions.
  • Contribute to the design and development of SEP training modules in compliance with national and international regulations and standards as well as best training practices.
  • Continuously provide feedback on improved training methodologies, modes of delivery and trainee performance to EAT Training Management as required.
  • Ensure records of completion and all relevant documentation are completed in a timely and organized manner.
  • Conduct regular assessments to gauge trainee progress and competency levels and Provide mentorship and support to new instructors as needed.

Education & Experience

  • Educated to high school level or above.
  •  Holds or has held a valid Cabin Crew License/Attestation
  • Minimum flying experience of 5 years.
  • Teaching/training qualification required.

  • Comfortable with utilizing digital tools and technology to enhance training delivery and communication.
